In order to facilitate a quick and efficient process, it is strongly recommended that applicants wishing to apply for a passport services may download the applicable passport application form and fill in all the columns prior to visiting the Passport & Visa Services Center.
From 1 April 2014 onwards all types of visas would be accepted online only. Paper applications henceforth would be discontinued. Online visa applications could be filled at URL: https://indianvisaonline.gov.in/visa/indianvisareg.jsp
and its printout along with applicable fees and required document is to submit to the India Passport and Visa Application Centers in Batha, Umm Al Hammam and Dammam.
In normal cases, Saudi nationals and foreigners holding valid resident permit
(Iqama) residing in Eastern Region within the jurisdiction of Embassy of India,
Riyadh may get their visa on the next day. However, those who do not hold a
valid resident permit, a reference has to be made to their country of residence
which will involve extra processing time of 3 working days and additional form
with additional fee of SR.100.00.
Pakistani nationals are required to submit Visa applications meant specifically
for them (in quadruplicate) in person.

Validity of all visas is counted from the date of issue.
Visa / Passport applications by post/mail are not entertained.
The Embassy reserves the right to refuse any visa without assigning any reason whatsoever.
